Question:  1 Please state the number of complaints of discrimination and/or unfair treatment Sir David Normington, First Civil Service Commissioner and Commissioner For public Appointments has adjudicated on and how many he  has upheld and how many has he dismissed and identify the names of each Organisation that he criticised and/or upheld the complaint.  2 Please state what amounts of compensation he has awarded to the victims of the wrongful treatment.  3 If no compensation has been paid what is the purpose of the Commissioner existing.

Discrimination Cases

Question:  On January 24, 2014, the Commission for Public Appointments announced the membership of the Appointments Committee to appoint the Chair and members of the Board of the Recognition Panel established under the Royal Charter on self-regulation of the press.  Under FOI legislation, I would like to know:  If Dame Anne Pringle, Dr Chitra Bharucha, Andrew Flanagan and Elizabeth France are to receive a salary, expenses or any other form of remuneration for their work?  The level/rate of any pay, expenses or other remuneration?  How many days their work is expected to take to conclude?
